About Us

Siloam KBC is a Korean church located in Newport News, Virginia.

The church was founded in October 1990 with those who shared a common vision. There were rough times, but many souls have been saved through the ministry centered on prayers and the Word. Even now, members experience spiritual growth with a conviction of salvation and faith. We are doing our best in all necessary areas to become wholesome Christians who are praised highly on earth.

There were down times, especially during the Covid pandemic. With the new senior pastor, Dr. Sean W Chang, in 2023, the church is being renewed with a new vision.

Currently, under the new leadership, two ministry staff members and other officers serve the church as they strive to understand the cultural differences between the first and the second generations of immigrants and to serve the congregation for a deeper spiritual maturity and experience of God.
